Based on research conducted by Brawijaya University, Malang, Indonesia, the amount of medical waste generated from medical treatment can be reduced by up to 80% if it is replaced with natural remedies. This research was conducted using quantitative and qualitative methods on 100 patients with various types of diseases.
Research results show that natural remedies can be as effective as medical treatments in treating diseases. In addition, natural medicine also has several advantages, such as not causing side effects and being more environmentally friendly.
